I think Living Well comes down to balance. I need to be attuned to my mind, emotions, body and spirit. Sometimes I need to lean into activity and engagement with others. Sometimes I need to lean out and take time for myself; to pay attention to what’s going on, perhaps take time to process my emotions, clear my thinking, or spend time with God, or just to rest.Β

Faith and kindness are important values for me. I love the quote: “You never know what someone else is going through. Be kind. Always.”Β  Self-compassion and boundaries are also important. I try to meet others with gentleness , curiosity and empathy, and I’ve learnt over time that I’m a healthier person mentally, emotionally and spiritually, as I do that for myself too.
